The project involved the construction of 250m of RC flood wall with security gate house, and associated foundations for a weighbridge, security bollards, gates and pedestrian entrance. The flood wall had various height foundation sizes and was finished on one side with the texted formliner from Max Frank.

This project was very challenging as all the while during construction the substation and office facilities were kept open.

DMC worked very closely with the main contractor (clancydocwra) and achieved the completion of the security perimeter prior to the Olympics 2012 work embargo.

DMC we engaged by GTEK as a RC subcontractor including the fabrication and installation of the temporary works steel for basement construction.

Basement area 330m2 including and stepped garden section to the rear. DMC package included all RC steel fixing, shuttering, temporary works installation, underpinning and completion of the RC frame.

DMC were engaged by Clancy Developments as a specialist reinforced concrete subcontractor to construct a 320m2 basement. The project also included a crane base which was a separate visit prior to main works. Continuous close liaison with Clancy developments Project Manager meant a smooth transition between visits and a successful outcome to the project. DMC’s package included all the steel fixing, shuttering to bases, walls, columns and ground floor slab.
